Wal-Mart is partnering up with Eli Lilly on its RediOne insulin brand. In doing so, the retailer is dumping Novo Nordisk, according to an article from Reuters. The insulin will be cobranded under the name Humulin ReliOn.
The price has not yet been announced, but a Lilly representative said the price is expected to be comparable to the current price.
Humulin is the older type of insulin sold by Eli Lilly. Humalog, which is newer, has about double the sales of Humulin.
