Insulet Corp. says is seeking regulatory approval for a lighter Omnipod insulin management system, according to a recent article from MassDevice. The new version is about two-thirds the size of the previous one and is about a third lighter.
“We are confident that the easy-to-use design of our tubeless insulin pump will raise the bar for the industry again and improve our competitive position in the marketplace,” CEO Duane DeSisto said in a prepared release.
