When I was a child and someone found out that I had diabetes, they assumed that I had Type 1. Now that I am an adult, people automatically assume I am part of the Type 2 crowd. Do they forget that children with Type 1 grow up to be adults with Type 1 diabetes? (more…)

I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when I was 12 years old. Hormones raging, rebelliousness kicking in and the inevitable teenager super drama claiming my persona.
